This website sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
1. This website
usiapps.com is a set of static pages served by our own server. It does not set cookies, does not use localStorage or sessionStorage to identify you, and embeds no third-party analytics or advertising script.
The site loads one third-party asset — the 3D graphics library used for the background animation — from a public CDN (unpkg.com). Fetching it sends your IP address and user agent to that CDN, as any request to any server does. No cookie is set for it, and we receive no information from that request.
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent, referrer) for security and troubleshooting, for a maximum of 30 days. That is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and it is not used to profile you.
2. Storage inside our apps
Cookies are a browser mechanism, and our mobile apps do not use them. They do store data locally on your device so the app can work between launches:
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Device code, device secret, recovery code | Identifies your anonymous account — there is no login to replace it | Until you uninstall or clear app data |
| Session token | Keeps you signed in to your own anonymous account | Rotated; until sign-out or clear |
| Cached conversation and settings | The app opens instantly, and works while the network is slow | Until cleared |
| Google advertising identifier | Serving and measuring ads (AdMob) | Managed by your device; resettable in system settings |
| Firebase installation ID, push token | Crash reporting, analytics and notifications | Until reinstall, or until you revoke notifications |
Clearing app data or uninstalling removes all of the above from the device. It does not delete data held on our servers — for that see Data Deletion.
3. Controlling it
- Ads — Android: Settings › Google › Ads › delete or reset your advertising ID. iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Notifications — revoke the permission in your device settings at any time.
- Browser — nothing to do here; there is no cookie to refuse.
4. Changes
If we ever add analytics or a cookie to this website, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires it, a consent banner will appear before anything is set.
